English Course Level 5

Do you have problems interacting fluently with native speakers? If you do, and you already know how to describe things that you are already familiar, this is the right English Course for you!

This is a fully flexible blended learning English Course. There are 10 units in this course, with lessons on grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, conversation strategies, reading, writing, listening, and speaking. This course is mapped to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) level B2.

Course Content

In this course, a student will learn how to do various things, such as the following:

  • Discuss meeting famous people
  • Discuss coping with natural disasters
  • Discuss what makes something a work of art
  • Discuss childhood experiences
  • Discuss attitudes to risk
  • Discuss travelling
  • Discuss the design of new buildings
  • Discuss attitudes to money
  • Discuss the impact of new inventions
  • Discuss ambitions and expectations

By completing this course, the student should be able to accomplish the following:

  • Can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialisation.
  • Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party.
  • Can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.
