English Course Level 2

Do you have problems describing things around you? If you do, and you already know how to express yourself in simple English, this is the right English Course for you!

This is a fully flexible blended learning English Course. There are 12 units in this course, with lessons on grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, conversation strategies, reading, writing, listening, and speaking. This course is mapped to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) level A2.

Course Content

In this course, a student will learn how to do various things, such as the following:

  • Talk about meeting people from other countries
  • Talk about what kind of work you find interesting
  • Talk about what you do every day
  • Talk about eating with your family
  • Talk about what a good home is
  • Talk about a family you know
  • Talk about where you’d like to travel to
  • Talk about sport and exercise
  • Talk about shopping in your town or city
  • Talk about how you use your smartphone
  • Talk about films and TV programmes you enjoyed when you were a child
  • Talk about photographs

By completing this course, the student should be able to accomplish the following:

  • Can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment).
  • Can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.
  • Can describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.
